Visited this place after reading the reviews, and it did not disappoint! We were greeted immediately, and our waiter, Khang, was fantastic--soft-spoken and attentive. The food arrived quickly, and everything was hot and fresh. We'll definitely be coming back again!

This is my second review of Fresh Bowl, the first one was on Uber Eats. This place is slapping! (For those of you that don't know, that means hitting on all the right notes!) first of all I was born and raised in San Jose, CA on of the big cities across the nation where Vietnamese food is most heightened in flavor and taste. Since moving to Austin TX, 95% of Vietnamese is straight whack. It could be just me... but it doesn't match the standard of what I expect out of Vietnamese food. I have selected places and even then... it's about 75% there. Now to Fresh Bowl... it reminds me of my dad's cooking... not all the way there but that's pretty damn close. I have ordered back to back days since Friday and I'm about to order again today. The Banh mi... loaded with meat and and the bread was soft and with a light fluff... delicious! And then I ordered the next day it toasted, crunchy as well! To even have that option, loved it! Next the Bun Bo Hue... STRAIGHT HELLA BOMB!!! I ORDERED IT 2 DAYS IN A ROW!!! Noodles cooked right, tons of meat, the soup... wow... definitely had a moment! The profile was on point!!! Perfection of taste of saltiness of the shrimp paste, lemon grass, the pork flavor... ( had a good tear in my eye). Bun no hue is not an easy broth to make, its layers of profile for the broth..." Sorry no pics because as soon as it arrived, I DEVOURED IT!!! lol YOU NEED TO TRY THIS PLACE! I need to make a visit here to compliment the Chef. I've only ordered off uber eats and that's a shame! 5 STARS FOR FRESH BOWL!!! 5/5/24....... This makes 3 nights in a row and the family and I can't get enough!!! LETS GO FRESH BOWL!!

Finally made it to Fresh Bowl, and man it was worth the wait! While it's not the cheapest spot for pho, it's reasonably priced for the quality you get. The restaurant was buzzing with customers, and it's no surprise why! I was very intrigued by the ladies at the table behind us, who had a mini cooking station set up, cooking right at their table. Definitely something I'll have to try next time. The portions were generous, leaving me with enough for a take-home tub of soup, neatly packed in plastic containers. There was this weird layered frozen dessert that caught my eye, I had to try it. I'm not exactly what was in it, maybe a mix of flavored jellies, peanuts, and beans all layered in with ice. Definitely something I've never had before. Overall, ATX Fresh Bowl is a cool spot worth checking out. Can't wait to return for another fat bowl of Pho!

Another great Vietnamese restaurant! Got Ube Coffee, vermicelli bowl (52 on the menu) and rice boodles bowl (20 on the menu). We were able to get seated (group of around 12) quickly and also got the food within 20 min. Ube Coffee is great-Vietnamese coffee is not as bitter as other coffee so I love that. The bowl portions are huge! Got to take the leftovers to-go. Great sauces and taste. Wonderful first time experience!

I went previously and had the wings and bánh mi which was perfect. Sorry I forgot to take pictures; but this time I DoorDash the phó and I absolutely love the fact they include this huge bowl (they forgot the utensils but I won't hold it against them because the food is so good. I'm so glad that they're just down the street.

The food was the best Vietnamese meal I've had in Austin! They serve the Vietnamese highlights for any restaurant. Everything was delicious and satisfying for me. The service was fast and attentive the waiter was polite. The decor was modern with Asian influences around. I haven't had a bad dish yet.

This place is definitely a must try! The egg rolls were amazing... so crunchy and hot. The spring rolls were yummy and fresh. The banh mi was incredible... crunchy bread and excellent taste. The pho was awesome and hit the spot on a chilly night. Overall an A+ experience!

- Casual dimly lit atmosphere - friendly excellent service - The 3 meat pho was really good and loved that you can really taste the star anise and cinnamon. Probably my favorite pho in Austin so far. And the fatty brisket was sooo good. The only bad thing is, there's too many noodles and it soaks up the pho broth pretty quickly. I might ask for noodles on the side next time. This was my favorite item of the night. - My husband had the lemongrass beef vermicelli bowl and said it was well seasoned/marinated and juicy. - the Crispy Pig's Hock was a little too greasy for me, it's like they deep fried it to get it crispy vs broiling the skin. I wasn't a fan of the sauce but made my own out of hoisin and sriracha and it was better. I wouldn't order this again. - We got the combo bánh mì to go and will try it for lunch tomorrow. And they also sell just the bone broth.
